Palm Cards for White Noise

Front

Back

This is our palm card. The front of the palm card is more simple and centers the logo to draw your attention to it. The date, time, and place are placed underneath the logo to allow the viewer to see this information right away. We decided to add the diagonal aspect to the palm card to add more consistency to the ticket. We also wanted the palm card to relate the poster so we decided to reintroduce the "white noise" states and have that as the graphical element.

Final Series

For the final piece, I created a campaign logo and modified my poster and advertisement to be a cohesive piece. The zoo poster was meant to be fun and cute and encourage the fun that comes from the zoo and how it can be even better with a fun animal ice cream cone. The second photo is the campaign label for the ice cream. It's directly placed on the ice cream because ice cream is often one of the foods that you always contemplate on buying. This label will trigger memories and get the consumer to buy the ice cream. Finally, the advertisement is placed in context in a magazine. A lot advertisements these days are about how to keep your shape or have you buy a certain product to improve your life, but the advertisement I made was to stimulate happy memories and think about those times, allowing people not to feel guilty for their decision to go and buy some ice cream to enjoy.

Poster

For the second part of the series, I decided to create a poster for the zoo. I thought that the zoo would be a good place to campaign ice cream for it's a place where we often recall fun, exciting memories as a child and always asking our parents to buy us ice cream while walking around. I didn't want to directly show ice cream here, but to imply the idea that ice cream would make your day that much better.

Advertisements

For one of pieces of the series, I decided to do an advertisement. These are some of the images that I took of my friend's brothers and a mock magazine advertisement. I wanted to convey the happy moments that you have when eating ice cream. The advertisement would promote ice cream by stimulating the viewer's personal memories and go and buy it for new memories.
