Persuasive Poster Process

These are some sketches for some of my initial ideas. I wanted to create a persuasive poster that focused on the pathos by allowing the viewer to recall the moment they contemplated on which ice cream to buy or remembering when they dropped their ice cream on the ground.

I decided to go with the idea of a dropped ice cream on the ground. In order to capture this moment, I began by recreating it and took images to reference from like the one shown above. I wanted the image to look as if the viewer was apart of the image with the arm reaching towards the ice cream in an act of desperation.

The poster here focuses on someone's reaction to this certain situation. The text 'It's too late' is emphasizing and setting the viewer straight if they were thinking otherwise about the situation that happened. The darkness is suppose to portray the sadness and almost depression you feel when you drop an ice cream cone on the floor.
